I had the pleasure of taking care of Mrs. Voulieris two days before she was discharged to Morton Plant and she was a real gem. She was always cheerful and we had a good laugh. I wished her well and she thanked me for caring for her and I told her it was a pleasure not knowing she would be gone a few days later. Life is so fragile that is why we have to live each day like it is our last. May she rest in peace and condolences to her family.

Mine and Dave's love and thoughts are with all the family on this sad day. Shirley was like a sister to me as we lived together for two years in Woodingdean during World War 2.
I started school there and Shirley would take me to school and back as she was three years older. We also had lots of fun together.
Later on my Mum, Dad and I saw her off on her journey to America which was quite emotional.
Over the years

Our English Rose so sweet and lovely.

Our Shir will always be remembered for her zest for life and laughter. She would always look to find the fun in every situation. Her greatest assets were her ability to cheer us up and make us feel special always. She may have gone on to join the one

The short ties i spent with Mrs. Voulieris were some great times. She was sick then and still full of life, wanting to know about me and making fun of me with her great son tommy. Who so also made fun of, but you could tell that she was so caring and full of love. She will be missed. but she is not gone, for the way that she raised her kids and the people who lives she touched, she

I remember meeting Shirley on a couple of occasions, during my freshmen year at the University of Florida. Thanassi was my roommate at Murphree Hall (Bldg. M) or better yet I was his roommate. I always remember her personality as being positive, and laughing even if the moment was stressful. What a great attitude, we can all learn from her personality! God Bless.
