Aline was born in Corcicana, Texas. Her family moved to Dallas, Texas in 1930. Aline lived in Dallas, Texas and moved to Mineral Wells, Texas in 1948. She attended Tyler Barber College in 1948 where she received her Barber Class A Certificate. She cut hair in Dallas, Midland and Mineral Wells, Texas until 1957.
She traveled to Germany and Paris where she visted the Eiffel Tower. On the way she stopped in Kentucky to enjoy the Kentucky Derby. In 1973 she completed class instruction in the study of Christian Science from Sybil M. Wilson CSB. Aline was a student in good standing. Aline raised 3 generations of children. Aline leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters; Carrie Spencer of Beaverton, OR and Nancy Henderson of Nashville, TN, 9 grand children, 24 great grand children and 10 great great grand children. Aline will join her mother Carrie and father Walker Sr, sister Louise and brother Walker Jr.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and your kind gentle soul. I never really thought about the day that I could no longer pick up the phone and hear your soothing voice. Words do no justice to how much I miss you. I had a dream about you the other night and in it you told me to rest my weary heart ....I love you so much and I hope you always felt that love. I have a lifetime of memories to share about my Big ... I spent most of my life with her. However my fondest memory of my grandmother is how she would always recite the 23rd Psalm to me whenever I had an issue or desired something in life. I remember most how she would sit up until the wee hours of the morning reading her bible. Her devotion to her family and God were undeniable. I feel so blessed that God put this woman in my life, had it not been for her who knows what would have become of my brothers and I. I have lots of great memories of the Grandma I called, Big!!! Growing-up, Big was the matriarch and the heart as soul of the family. She gave all her love, advice, help and protection to her family and friends. She was strong, loyal and had a caring heart as big as all outdoors.

I remember when I was a little boy and my mom planned a surprise birthday party for Big and all the kids had a role. My job was to be the waiter, sit by the front door and yell when Big got home from work. I remember I had this white linen kitchen towel draped over my forearm like a real waiter. I remember going shopping with Big, Sister, and Nannie all the time. So, now everytime that I go to the store I walk down every ilse as if I haven't ever walked in the store! I might see something new and on sale as they would tell me!!! Love You Big
