Margaret
I'm so sorry you've lost your precious Dad. George and my Dad (Bernie) were inseparable friends for many, many years. I first met George years ago in Arkansas and he immediately became my racquetball buddy. We had so much fun playing!!! I always loved being around him....he was always the jokester and always happy! We were more than happy to include him in all our family Holiday dinners. What fun it was to see him and my Dad joke around.

Margaret...I'm sorry I was not able to attend the visitation for your Dad. He was such a warm and compassionate man, both of your parents were. The world was a better place because of him. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

I will always be grateful for the many hours of volleyball played in his backyard on Sunday afternoons. He welcomed all with an infectious smile. The camaraderie and friendly competition were testament to George’s persona. He was meticulous with mowing “his court” to exact dimensions. He and his family will always be my friends.

Dearones,

Your Dad and Mom are rare souls, consistently they shed tons of light and understanding upon us as we struggled to find ourselves in the turbulent 60s. I fondly recall listening to the BBC on the shortwave radio out on the back porch in the early evenings so as to get and share "the other side of the story"... something we continue to do to this day.

They help us to understand that Friendship is:
The tendency to desire what is best
