Walking through St Luke's Church today, we were viewing all the historic headstones. We happened to come across Ms Harte's plot today and noticed that it was fairly new. Dear Vonnie and Wallace,
We received your very sad news and cannot imagine its being a reality.
What a blessing to have known Amy from second grade onwards, to hear even now her laugh, to have enjoyed her love and encouragement, and to treasure her always making us feel like family. We love her as one of OUR extended family.
We know it has been anguishing to see her lose her health and be so sick.

I am so sorry to hear of Amy's passing. I have so many fond memories of her as we grew up together in the Surry Methodist Church and at Surry Academy!
