Tom was a good friend of my family (Roland & Frances Warner). I knew Tom from time I was 7 years old and he was already in high school. I had a mad crush on him and he always told me that he was going to marry me when I grew up! His nickname for me was "Darling". Of course it was a "school girl crush" because he was much older than I was! Tom was good friends with our entire family, and he was over at our house on Barbara Street in Austin, Texas a lot, along with Jimmy Allen, Pat White, and Gary Buchannon. He was always so nice and full of energy and laughter. My father (Roland) just loved Tom, as did my mother Frances. Tom had some wild times with several of our friends and family. He would always play with me and throw my favorite yellow, happy faced ball with me almost every time he came over.

I remember when I was in high school, and me, my brother Jaime, and my parents lived in Leander, Texas, and Tom showed up around midnight. He knocked on the door and showed up with cigars and laughter! He went right upstairs to my parent's bedroom, and got my dad out of bed! They sat there that night and smoked cigar's together and laughed into the wee hours of the morning. My dad talked about that night for years - he loved it!

Tom came to my parent's 44th Wedding Anniversary, and he was the life of the party. We all have such wonderful memories of Tom. Tom loved all of us, and we all loved him. Tom had a special relationship with my sweet father, Roland. My father loved Tom so much, and Tom could make him laugh at any given moment.

I feel that Daddy and Tom are in heaven together now, and probably smoking cigars and talking about the good ole' days.

Tom - we will all miss you and love you forever. We shall see you in heaven my "darling", along with other loved ones, and our dear precious Lord.

A sighting here, a ride there... seems like our paths often crossed and every time you made me feel like we were great friends... your genuine and generous heart was always so welcoming... your hugs will be greatly missed and my heart breaks at your passing, especially for your dear Lisa, such a great pair you two... prayers for the family and closest friends in this difficult time... ride on my friend, see you again one day, on Heaven's Highway!

Tom, we will never, ever forget the friendship we shared. You were an amazing man. You never once disappointed us in any way. You were always a man with a warm heart, a dazzling smile, and a joy for life. We are so much better for having known you and loved you for the past 15 years. I visited with Tom at our 30 year highschool reunion and enjoyed catching up with him at that time. He was missed at the 40th (a couple of weeks ago). I noticed his name in our 40-year Reunion Class Direcory and was going to send him an e-mail to see how he was doing. I'm just sorry I never got around to it. My prayers go out to his family. I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Tom and I were students together at Holy Cross High School. He was always smiling and happy. Although I hadn"t seen him or Troy for a long time I always remembered them fondly.

Of my goodness, so many wonderful memories. He would carry our son Jody (four at the time) around on his sholders. Tom, Troy, and Paul helped us dig up a pipe in our front yard when they were all very young. Much beer was consumed and the boys sang "Plop, plop, fizz, fizz" over and over so loud the neighbors were coming out to see what was going on. The boys, including Roger were fixtures at our auto repair shop

I will always remember how kind Tom was. He would visit my parents who lived down the street from his parents. I have wonderful memories of going to Northwest Pool with Tom, Troy and Michelle. My heart is with his family at this time.
