Charlie Mears

I recall Marion coming to Johnson City, TN, where I grew up, along with Ludy and Louise. He visited my father Fred and mother Dorothy and my wife Kelly and me were privleged to visit with Marion at that time. This would have been around 1985-86, or thereabouts. Though I remember seeing Marion a few times when I was younger, this particular visit was the last time I saw him. I recall Marion being a nice, kind person, like his brother and my grandfather Hazel. I express my sympathies to all the loved ones of this good and kind man.

I am so sorry to here of the loss of your father. I know it was not long ago that you also loss your mother. It has been so many years since I lived on Admiral Dr and have very pleasant memories of both your parents. I was several years older than you & played next door with Billy Runkle. They both were extremely nice people. I know you will miss them.
I don't know if you know much about

Dear Micheal and Susan,
It was so special last year taking pictures of your Dad and Isabella on her great, great, greatuncle's lap at his birthday party, not too many families can say that. He was a wonderful person and we will miss our visits to your parent's house dearly. We have so many great memories of your Dad, I will miss hearing him tell the camping/boating stories and adventures of their childhood on Bennett's Pt. Love,Lisa and Chuck

During a family vacation at Hilton Head last month, we had the privilege of meeting our daughter's father-in-law, Marion. One afternoon, when we asked him how his day was going,he said, "Wonderful! Every day is a good day; it's what you make of it." What a great motto for all of us!

We hear Heaven's angels singing!

Peace and joy to the Mears family,

John and Carol Corina
