Dear June and Linda,

We were so sorry we didn't make it to the funeral services for Pat. We had planned on carpooling with Robin and Jennie, but they suddenly made other plans and we couldn't afford to make the trip alone.

Dale's brother has end stage prostate cancer and is expected to live only a very short time more. We have been driving to Windham- near Portland ,at least once a week since last fall to help care for him so

Pat and I played clarinet for St. Williams Band, Dorchester, MA. I have fond memories of our playing a duet at the annual band concert. Pat chose Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A major. We used to practice at his house on Pleasant St. with his mom and dad as our audience and positive critics. The duet was a success thanks to Pat's playing the lead.
