I happened to be at school researching our family tree when your picture came up. I clicked on this site and saw that everyone else has said goodbye to you, but I have not. And for that I'm sorry. To me you aren't gone. You are just a short distance away. I will see you some day, but as for your son, Big Stan, I'm not so sure. He prefers fishing over church. So see if you can whisper something

I remember most Aunt Jeanne's laugh. It was absolutely contagious and she laughed a lot. She was so much fun to be with and whenever the family got together, I always wanted to be near Aunt Jeanne to hear the silly things she said and just to hear her laughter.

What beautiful memories and thoughts by everyone!

Jeanne lived up to all those wonderful things said about her, and more. She was a beautiful lady that I have the utmost respect. She was a pure example of class, beauty, and grace.

It is never goodbye, but see you later when we all meet again on heaven's shore.

Thoughts, prayers and love to the Chesnut Family. May you all get through this difficult time knowing how much Jeanne was so loved.

I can remember the good times at Grandpa Rudy and Grandma Maude's house on the holiday gatherings as a kid with the "grownups" in the other room chattin. If you were there then you couldn't mistake Aunt Jeanne's laughing and carrying on. She was a great lady and we''ll all miss you Aunt Jeanne.

Aunt Jeanne and I had the same name, but as a child I thought the spelling of her name so exotic and truly wished for two more letters so I could be like her. As the years passed I realized that two letters would never make me the person she was. She was kind and loving and thoughtful with time for everyone and never an unkind word. I remember birthdays that she called and always a Christmas card with a

Jeanne went with Don, Arlene and me to Europe. I remember what fun we had and how Jeanne Jwas always so cheerful even when we got lost.

My husband, Jerry (Jeanne's brother) said "I used to go to the beach with her and her girlfiends. I was so proud to be the only male among those beautiful girls."

I always enjoyed teaching music to Jeanne's class at Dale Mabry.
She was an inspiration to me and the children.

Aunt Jeanne is one of my favorite people. I will always remember her laughter and how much fun she had at everything. She was beautiful inside and out. Jeanne was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. I will truly miss her and treasure the memories I have of her.

Jeanee was a beautiful lady and led a beautiful life. I am grateful she was in my life. I know she is now happy with her parents and with Dale.

Though her smile is gone forever,
And her hand I cannot touch,
I still have so many memories,
Of the one I loved so much,
Her memory is my keepsake,
With which I will never part,
God has her in His keeping,
I have her in my heart.
Sadly missed, but never forgotten.
I love you Nana.
