Dennis , It's Christmas! My first without you. This is a sad year. I am filling my days with thoughts and memories of years' past-as children on Christmas morning racing down the stairs to share in the joy's ahead. Our family dinners together-the love and compasion we had as a family. I wish I could turn back time. I feel such a deep loss without you. God be with you always, I know you are celebrating with Christ. Merry Christmas Dennis

Dear Claudia, On behalf of Brenda Paris Sherry and Dorothy Paris Cronley we send our deepest sympathy to you. By the time we heard about Dennis the funeral had already taken place.. We both have fond memories of both Dennis and dear "Aunt Millie" which seems like so long ago.
Our prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing pictures of your times together.
God Bless and keep you. Dorothy

Dear Claudia,

My sympathies to you at this difficult time. I fondly remember Dennis with his big smile and joking ways. I am sorry that I could not attend the memorial service for Dennis last Friday in East Hampton but want you to know I was thinking of Dennis and you all day. Rest in peace dear Dennis.

Dear Dennis-

We just celebrated your life yesterday. You were very special to a lot of people. And will be missed. Not seeing you in Cambridge or Florida will be so hard. I will never forget your smile and your interest always in our children. Going out to dinner in our favorite places will be hard without you. You will always be remembered and missed. Rest in Peace Dennis, you were a great guy.

I will really miss U Dennis. We skied together at Burke and Bellayere. You could take my kidding and give it back. I'll always remember the holidays, cruises to the Carribean and winters in Florida. Next time I go to the White Elephant I'll have one to you. Never forget U. Gary

Claudia, Dennis, Matt, Steve and Abby(dog) at lake near Cambridge, Memorial Day Weekend 2011.

We will never forget the most wonderful time we had with Dennis and Claudia during our vist to Cambridge last summer. The most hospitable of hosts! It was the last time we saw Dennis and we will surely miss his friendly smile, his, oh!, so-kind nature and open heart. He was always so easy to talk to and never judgemental. A good hunitng buddy and a genuine friend. His cues should be taken by all. We will miss him. Fondly, Steve, Virginia, Matt and Abby

I always looked forward to visiting Dennis and Claudia in East Hampton. I recall the quiet times we had just sitting around the pool house in East Hampton enjoying the sights and sounds and just making small talk. I remember Dennis teaching me how to drive a stick shift in his Dodge P/U and driving along the beaches of East Hampton. That was over 30 years ago! He introduced me to duck hunting and skeet shooting. He was kind, down to earth and loved the outdoors. I loved him as a friend and brother-in-law and shall miss him greatly.

I will always cherish the moments I shared with my Uncle Dennis. He was one of the greatest people I've ever known. As a kid I shared countless days with him in the summers of my childhood, skiing in Vermont and helping him "on the job". He taught me to paint and was always my biggest fan. His kindness and Humility touched all who met him. There is not a day that goes by that I won't miss him dearly. Till we meet again uncle Dennis, I love you.
