I am so grateful for having had the priviledge of knowing Ms. Ann, even if the time of our aquaintance was short. She was a gentle soul and an elegant lady. I will miss seeing her at Live Oak Village. My sincere condolences to the family.

Mr. John and Mrs. Juanita,
I was very saddened to hear of Miss Ann's passing. I am so honored to have known her through my time at the "home". A very lovely person, indeed.
You know where I am if I can do anything for your family

In the fall of 1948, there were 4 girls on the new campus. We were taking chemistry and biology classes and 2nd year classes were not taught at the main campus downtown. Our chemistry teacher didn't really want any girls in his classes. He said classes came first and he had better not see anyone in the cafeteria playing bridge during the semester. Ann and Pat Harper went on to the med center to finish their bachelor degrees. Estelle Germer
