I was both saddened and deeply affected by the news of Mary Lou’s death. This brought back so many fond memories of our close relationship. She was like a sister to me.  Although I have not been able to visit with Mary Lou and Don in a long time, I have thought of them frequently. The last time I saw them was after my son's wedding in 2010. As I left the church, the first person I recognized was

Mrs. Mary Lou was a true Christian. She and Don are wonderful examples. They were so faithful to the house of God even through her illness. Praise the Lord for their example. She also loved our children very much and would always have candy for them and gifts on their birthdays. She loved all the kids in our church. She is deeply missed. Heaven is difinitely sweeter with her there.
