Clifford Junior Rose

Clifford "Cliff" Junior Rose, age 81, of Houghton Lake Heights passed away on Sunday July 22, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. Cliff was born on November 18, 1930 in Battle Creek, Michigan; to Clifford M. & Minnie (Pillers) Rose. He married Rose Marie Grixti on May 2, 1964 in Plymouth. The couple moved to Houghton Lake Heights in 1974 and started Cliff's Dry Wall. Cliff enjoyed hunting and fishing. Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Rose Marie Rose of Houghton Lake Heights, Son; Douglas C. (Kim) Rose of Garden City, Daughter Debra May Rose, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday July 28, 2012 at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel at 1 PM with visitation from 12 PM until the time of the service. In-lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice of Grayling.
