Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mrs. Sharp was such a wonderful teacher, and a greater person, that her lessons are still with me to this day. I never saw her after high school, but I did think of her often when I was in my mid 30's and full-time college student. I was saddened to see this notice.

To the entire family-Ethel was a inspiration to me. I remember when she took over the Kindergarten class I was in and not to mention when I reached High School she was teaching at the High School age. I know I was also an inspiration to her as well. So sorry I can not be there. One of my earliest memories of Aunt Ethel was telling her I wanted to be a teacher just like her. She inspired me to achieve that dream. When my mama, Donna, and died in 2009, I recorded '' Wind Beneath My Wngs''. Today I'll be listening to that song and remembering Aunt Ethel. '' Than You. Than You. Thank God for you the wind beneath the my wings! ''

My heart goes out to the entire family. Miss Ethel was an Angel on earth. She taught me patience, and diligence. What an inspiration she was to so many. I was so sorry to hear that Ethel lost her battle. What a wonderful, kind, pleasant soul she was. Charles and I would run into her and Carl at the hospital during their treatments a few years ago and have such pleasant conversations. She was an inspiration for many.
My sincere heartfelt condolence to all of the family. I know she will be missed by many.
