I was so sorry to hear that Gary had past away. I worked with Gary at Verizon and no matter what we were doing he always made the job easier with his sence of humor and his smile that went on forever. He always made me laugh. When you heard his unmistakable voice it brought a instant smile to your face. When Gary would see me working along the side of the road he always took the time to stop

Tara and family,

My heart goes out to you at this unimaginably difficult time. Take comfort in knowing that you did everything in your power to show him how much you loved him during his last days with you. Though I didn’t know him personally, the dedication, love, and support shown to him by you and your siblings, especially over the past few months, is surely a testament to his character. He must have been an amazing father. We’re all here for anything you need to help heal in the days ahead.

How do you say goodbye to someone who was so loved and so much a part of your family? YOU DON"t-- through pictures, memories, stories and family celebrations they live on. You will see him in they way you act and they way your children act.Gary lives on forever in you. Much love sent to you at this time. Todd and Suanne Mclenithan

Tara, Amy, Rob, Rebecca, Gary, Emily and the boys,
Although I only met your father/grandfather a few times, I have a picture perfect moment-in-time memory of him. Driving past Amy and Rob's one sunny day last summer on the way to kayak I spied a slice of Americana joy rarely seen these days. There in the yard, was a whole baseball team of a family enjoying a game together; all 5 grandkids, plus Amy, Rob, Gary, Jr.,and Gary, Sr. all having a grand time laughing and playing. What a beautiful life you created and shared together. Much love to you all.

So sorry for your tragic loss. Although thinking I didn't know Gary, when I saw his picture posted I fell through the floor! I used to have so many wonderful and hilarious conversations with him whenever I met him, mostly at Stewarts. You see, I never knew his last name......He surely was a great guy and my heart is full of tears for you.
