Memories & Candles
It was with deep sadness that I returned from vacation today 8/1 to learn of Pat Klove's passing. I've known Pat through Sons of Norway since I joined 18 years ago; Pat's been a member much longer. Warm and welcoming, Pat was always ready with a smile and positive words. She was sunshine and good cheer! She was active in SON until only recently. For many years she was in charge of distribution of our Sons of Norway Capital Viking

Rembering the first twelve years of my life and my close relationship with cousin Pat. Being a few years older than I she was always the leader so I let her take the blame for any of our mishaps during our regular Family Sunday Dinners Pat and I truly enjoyed our summers in York Beach Maine at Grampa and Grandmother Barretts home playing in the "Doll House" and chasing butterflies in the estate gardens. Also during the last fifty-five years

I have fond memories of Mrs. Klove.
She was "the cookie Mom" for all the Girl Scout troops I was in. The foyer of the Klove home was filled with cases of Girl Scout cookies. Mrs. Klove was also the Troop Nurse-on-call. When I think about the different outtings and activities--I see her with us.
I always felt welcome in her home.
In the 1990s she gave me the name of a doctor for my Aunt Helen. I knew I could trust her guidance.
