Memories & Candles
I met Jack at Waldorf College his freshman year. What a great guy. I played with him on our intramural football and basketball teams, and knew right away he was a talented athlete. Never saw him again after I moved on to another school, but always remembered him and will cherish the memories of him.

As so many other people have said, I will remember his great smile!! I remember his front tooth had a cap on it which,to me,made him look even more like the GREAT athlete that he was. He was a wonderful bonus to WHS athletic dept. when he arrived in 1967 as well as a good friend to many!! I enjoyed cheering him on at many a football and basketball games. Jack will be missed by his fellow team mates and class mates of the class of "69." God must have needed him on His team!!

the truly SAD part about being so far away from the area I grew up in is NOT being able to share SO MANY (ALL)good memories of JACK...who ALWAYS seemed to have a SMILE on his face. if any of us was having "not such a good day", that would change immediately with Jack around - ya just couldn't help it ! and...if you were having a GOOD day, his presence added a TON to that ! I know we'll miss ya, bud - but NO ONE who met Jack will ever forget him.

So sorry to hear of "Jack's" passing. He was a great person & a gifted athlete, never all about himself either. My wife Annette remembers how he even helped the younger kids "get game" when they were playing in same neighborhood. Love ya Jack! You'll be sorely missed.

Was quite shocked to hear of Jack's passing. We had talked on phone about 9 months ago and he sounded well at the time. My thoughts are with his family at this time. What a wonderful person he was!!

Jack,
One of Wilton's finest 1969 graduating athletes. We shared many great moments on the field and off with the Wilton Class of 1969. Forever a friend, and best wishes to his immediate family. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family, and Jack will always be remembered by the people he shared his time with.

I met Jack through Cristina Allgood when he helped out with Anson and Micaela. What a kind grandfather to help out with his grandchildren! My condolences to the family, Jason, Aaron, and Melanie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

My sincerest sympathy goes out to the family of Jack. I was truly blessed with 2 of his years as a great athlete and even greater friend during our Junior and Senior years at Wilton High 67-69. Seems like we were almost twins, both with an older sister and brother, both played 4 sports at Wilton HS, both hated track (we considered it cross-training for baseball and football!!) Jack's honesty, humor and genuine friendship will be missed. He taught me
