I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. My thoughts are with you and your "entire" family. Everett Circle has really changed. I still have fond memories of your dad, picking us up from all our adventures: roller skating, bowling and even a couple of concerts when we were kids.

June and family, we're so very sorry to hear of your Mothers passing and even
more surprised that your father was gone. We did not know of your Mothers
illness, she was amazing how she cared for your Father all those years.

I am grateful you were like a second mother to me (even though my mother is so unbelievably Kind and Generous).
I am grateful my children got to know you so well.
I laugh when i think of how you insisted rabbits were nocturnal. I'll swear it's true if I'm ever asked.
I love eating your date nut bread (Nana Minton's recipe will be with us forever).
I miss hearing your silly giggle.
I miss picking up the phone and hearing "Hi, have a half a second?"
I miss spending hours with you on the phone and not even realizing it until my kids were crying to go to bed.
I'm proud that you were such a strong woman, you carried all of us at one time or another.
I'm proud you could talk Red Sox baseball with the best of 'em! You put me to shame! You knew the stats and could rightfully call them "bums" when they deserved it.
I'm sad this will be the first birthday I have without a call from you in 34 years.
I'm sad that my mother lost you. You were both there for each other in times of need.
I'm so sad you were sick. I wish I could have taken it away from you.
I'm glad that through it all, you were human. I knew you weren't perfect. You also knew that I am not. Nobody is. You were honest and real with me and never judged me. I will never be able to express how grateful I am to have had you in my life and how proud I am to be your granddaughter.
This list could go on and on forever. There will always be one more thing I forgot to say. I will keep adding to it in my head. I will never forget you. Rest in peace and be happy and free, Nana. I love you so much, always.

All the years of taking care of my brother Hank, and never once did I hear her complain. Up to the time of Hank's passing, their bond was still as strong as when they met so many years ago. Now they're bonded for eternity in a far better place.
