Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, lord, by and by
There’s a better home a-waiting
In the sky, lord, in the sky!
Love you, Barry!

Today is aug.6th and I just found out about Barry's death. It was on this day fourteen years ago that my son David was killed in a tragic boating accident while on vacation. Barry's son Perry was my son's best friend and was there at the scene of the accident. Perry was probably thirteen years old at the time. What amazed me was that he responded to the tragedy like a courageous man. I always attributed this to how well

Barry, I am sorry I wasn't in town last week and where did all the time go, pard? You and your family mean so much to me as you all played such a positive and major role in my childhood. How many PB&J's did your Mom and my Mom make for us? Probably 32,493 of them.

What I wouldn't give to have one more with you and then go out and build a fort out of pine needles on Stillman or

Barry, thank you for letting me wear your roller skates to race in.. i liked yours better than mine...we were 11. Do you remember the day we left Cloverdale and went to the Rink? i rode on your bicycle down Geyer Springs...on the handlebars. it was a memory i will never forget. Who knew when we were all grown up we'd both love guitars and motorcycles.. i only wish we would have gotten to ride once more.

Barry was such a wonderful guy, he was so funny, and just an all around great person, and our kids adored him too. We missed him so much when he moved back to his home area. My prayers for comfort, strength, and peace are with his family, who I know loved him very much. One of our precious sons was

I only knew Barry through my brother, Tony Mitchell, but everytime I was saw him, he was smiling. He was just the kind of guy that you instantly liked!! I know that he will be missed dearly by many, because I didn't know him very well and I am deeply saddened by his leaving this earth! May God comfort your family now and always!
