The news of Gary's passing has sadded our Caterpillar family. Gary was a great person to work with. He always had a smile and a kind word for his friends and co-workers. My sincerest condolences.

Gary was an important part of our team at Caterpillar and will be greatly missed. He was always there with an answer to any question that I asked. I will miss being able to go to him not only for help at work but for some of the interesting conversations that we had. My thoughts are with Gary's family during this difficult time.

It is with great sadness that I read of Gary's death. He was a great friend of mine although I had not visited with him much lately. Please accept my condolences Dan and family, as I know this loss is painful.

I always appreciated having Gary to work with. He taught me a lot as I was learning a new area and I could always count on him. My condolences go to Gary's family during this time of transition. Gary will not only just remain in my thoughts, but the other team members in the area that had the privilege to work with him. Gary has and will continue to be missed.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Gary's passing. Gary was a hard working, extremely dependable, and knowledgeable employee. He was a tremendous asset to the Distribution department as well as the Caterpillar team. My thoughts and prayers go out the Downing family.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Downing family. Gary is a well respected, dependable, hard working member of our Distribution Team. He is sadly missed by all of us who knew and worked with him.

I am so sad to hear about your families loss. We all grew up in the same neighborhood in Battle Ground and those memories will always be with us. Prayers to the family.

So sad to hear this news. Gary was a family friend to my mom and step father, Donna and Ron Maltony. He dated my sister, Lori and was my friend. He lived with us for a short while. He was like a big brother...always saying funny things like " a bottle pop and a big banana, I'm from Battleground Indiana!" To this day we still say it and think of him and laugh. Back in the Lafayette Generals football days,
