Anna Marie Jedlicka, 103, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 2:25 a.m. at the Fort Madison Health Center. She was born on June 14, 1909 in Chicago, IL to Martin & Mary Novak Janik. She married Hans Jedlicka on November 25, 1937 in Westmont, IL. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2004. She worked at Pepperidge Farms Bakery in Downers Grove, IL and enjoyed swimming and spending time with her two grandchildren.
Anna is survived by: 1-daughter: Christine (Philip) Hecht of Fort Madison, IA; 2-grandchildren: Alan Hecht of West Point, IA & Audrey (Nick) Roman of Port Byron, IL & 1-great granddaughter: Ava Roman of Port Byron, IL. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 1-daughter: Patsy Jedlicka, 1-sister & 1-brother.
Per her wishes, her body has been cremated by King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory & a private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien, IL. A memorial has been established in Anna's name and contributions may be sent to Chris Hecht, 215 Crescent Lane, Fort Madison, IA 52627.
