She was loved dearly by her nephew Pete Byerly, who, I would like to think was there waiting to greet her with open arms. I only met her once and she made me feel like we had been family forever. To Larry and all of her family, your loss is felt deep in my heart. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Larry and Family I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I first met her in 1950 when she was a young bride and I a 15 year old high school student and I have many happy memories of all the years since then, as I am sure you do also I hope you know how proud she was of you and your family. Aunt Betty was always very special to our family. She and my Uncle Jack lived with us near Gettysburg, Pa. for several years. She spent a lot of time with us children, telling stories from her childhood, laughing, talking about our plans for the future.
