I only met her a few times when she came to Elkhart for my Grandpa's b-day (Son Marcontell) but I thought she was just so sweet and cute. She reminded me so much of Grandpa (Son). I know Mrs Wise will be missed. She is one in my many of childhood memories as growing up as a neighbor. Always felt welcome in her home. Always had the utmost respect for her never until today what her first name was because she was always Mrs. Wise to me. My prayers an love go out to the entire family in the loss of a great mother not only to her children but all the children in the neighborhood that passed thru.

My grandma was nice lady. When she was sick, i took care of her whenever i could. She always had this way of making you feellik everything was okay even if it wasnt she always put people before her, which is why she was a nice caring person. I love You Granda, and I hope You and Grandpa Elmer are reunited together. Rest In Peace, Love Justin Wise

An icon for sure and a pillar in our little community. Mrs. Wise probably never knew the impact and Christian influence she had on several generations of us in Sheldon. My thoughts and prayers are with the family....sad time for us, but rejoicing in heaven.
