Memories & Candles
My Uncle Steve taught me many life lessons. The importance of family, to do the right thing even when it is not easy or convenient, work hard, and that cold beer is always good on a hot day (or any day). I will never forget his smile, his laugh, or his stories. I am honored to call him uncle and friend. You will forever be in my heart.
Love, Heidi

Knew Steve for nearly 20 years and got to work closely with him on various construction projects as a construction sales rep. Never met a more decent man. If a man's wealth is measured by the number of friends he has, there could be no richer person than Steve. He will truly be missed by many. My prayers go out to his family.

Renee and Family
We are so sorry for your loss. Steve was such a wonderful man, he always had a joke or a funny story to brighten up someone's day. If more people in this world were like Steve it would be a better place. He will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love

I honestly can not remember a time when Steve wasn't smiling. That's rare for anyone, but for a railroader......it's amazing.

Hey DUDE! Thanks for sharing your Smokey & The Miracles with me...I love the old yellow & brown label and vinyl LP's to this day. I loved to babysit for you and dance to Tears of a Clown in the living room. I was so proud that you trusted me with your FLOOR cabinet stereo...lol... I dusted it with Pledge and those who know me...I don't dust. Lots of memories from High/Howell Street! Much love to you and see you on the other side someday! ~~Leona Jayne~~

Renee once said "Steve was her morning sunshine". He always had a smile, a great laugh and always had a funny story or joke to tell. He just wanted to make you feel good. He cared about people. He was willing to helped anyone in need. His first questions were: What can I do? How can I help? What can I do to make it better? Then proceeded to do anything to help in anyway he could. He could also

Over the last few days I've had many memories come to me. One of those was the time Steve called me up and asked me to come live with their family. Steve and Renee treated me like one of their own. It takes special people to do these kinds of things for people and I hope Steve new how much that meant to me. I also remember Steve & Jeff helping me change the U-joints on my first car. Steve
