Dear Family,
All of the staff and care providers here at Hospice Compassus wish to express our condolences on the passing of Mike. What a joy it was to come into the home and spend time caring for him and encouraging him. Now that your Labor of Love is complete, may the God who loves the hurting now go to work to heal your hearts as you travel on a grief journey for a ways. Now it is time to Remember

Kirk,
I have such fond memories of what a truly nice guy your brother was. I knew him from
Graymere and recall he was so unassuming despite his obvious athletic prowess. I think he was a great ambassador for the game and for sports. My heart goes out to you and all your family.

I will always have fond memories of Mike, especially during the '70s when we lived in Nashville. I can hear that wonderful laugh of his like it was yesterday. My prayers are with Mike and his entire family.

My heart hurts for your loss, Kirk. I remember Mike from the old days at CMA and his trying to teach our young son, Chip, how to play golf. Many years have passed since then, but good memories remain. I always enjoy seeing you at FUMC when you come home. You will continue to be in my thoughts.

To the Whiteside Family:
Please accept my sympathy at the passing of Mike. He was always the strong, silent type, but you knew you could depend on him. He will be missed.
