Eternal Rest Mrs. Cook.... Mrs. Cook was my 5th grade teacher at New Haven Elem. 1973-1974. She made learning fun & at the same time would let us have fun, but never to lose respect for her . She chased Tom VanKirk around the room with the paddle. (all in fun) Beth Strader Garstka collected money from the students to buy her a beautiful white sweater for Christmas. I loved fifth grade and Mrs. Cook was a very big part in all of that.
