Mrs. Pixie "Barbara" Martin

Pixie "Barbara" Martin, 74, of Port St. Lucie, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, FL.

Mrs. Martin was born in Kingston, Jamaica W.I. She had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past three years coming from Palm Bay, Florida.

Prior to retirement, she worked fifteen years as an Administrative Assistant for McCall's Magazine in New York, NY.

She was a member of All Villages Presbyterian Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Winston Martin of Port St. Lucie, FL; one daughter, Jody Martin of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sons, Kevin Martin of New York, NY; Lancelot Martin of Port St. Lucie, FL, and one sister, Valerie Brown of Bronx, NY.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Friday, August 24, 2012 at Forest Hills-Byrd, Young & Prill Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, FL.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 25, 2012 at All Villages Presbyterian Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery in Port St. Lucie, FL.
