Dad, it has been a month since your passing, and i still think about you everyday. The Sunday's are the hardest. Our date day. Mom is doing ok, but you are there always. I really miss you. Football season just doesn't feel the same. The tribute that the Rockland Youth Football team showed you at the church was so heart wrenching but beautiful at the same time. The VFW coming to your sevice and giving you the Fallen Soldier Tribute

There are no words to express how fortunate I feel to have been blessed with you and Ellie as my in-laws. Your relationship as husband and wife helped to show me how it was supposed to be done. Thank you for raising such a wonderful son, and being so accepting of me. You will be in my heart always. You will forever be my favorite father in-law. Peace, Dee

Dear Gramps,
First of all I want to say I love you and I will miss you extremely. But I know your happy now, with your family and friends who already completed the journey. But more importantly your are healthy once again! I will never forget the memories I hold so close to my heart, thank you for those! You are truly an inspiration and a role model for so many people including me. I will miss you so so much, but I know your alive in each one of us and your watching over us. I LOVE YOU!

Uncle Sonny,

I very much enjoyed listening to you, Grandpa, Uncle Billy, my Dad and cousin Chuckie bantering about in Grandpa and Nana's living room, while you were watching the NY Giants football games on Sundays. I also enjoyed your humerous insperations as Michael, Dennis and I would be teeing off when you the starter.

Love you,

Jimmy

Grampa, I lay in bed at night torn between 2 opposite emotions. The first emotion is complete sadness. Grampa you will be truely missed by every person that was privaleged to know you. You always had a way of making us grandkids feel so special and appreciated. You were always so kind and loving to all of us. I have soo many memories as a child living above you. Memories I will cherish forever. The second emotion is a joy.

Dear Cowing family, We are very sorry for your loss. Sonny was a big smile and a handshake. I never saw him angry. A home town hard working guy who just wanted to be with his family, [Or with a driver in his hand.] May he rest well.

Dear Gramps, I could probably write a 1000 page novel of all of our memories together but My favorite memories will always be the car rides, being home with just you, and especially the rounds of golf. That is where we connected, where we formed that special bond that I don't expect anyone to understand because all that matters is I feel it and I know you do too. You taught me how to be a respectable member of society.

Mr Cowing, these pages are not long enough for me to express all my memories of you growing up. The timeless efforts you gave to the youth growing up kept many a kid out of trouble with sports. I know you are in a better place now and will be watching over your family from above. Love, Mary Reilly Callahan.
