I just wanted to pass along my deepest sympathies to the Hembree family. I will never forget visting Mrs. Hembree at her home and seeing her at ballgames when I was with my friend and her grandson Eric. She was a wonderful lady. I pray that God may comfort you all during this time of loss.

Steve and Bill I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember the mornings that we would not of gone trout fishing had not been for her waking us up at 3 a.m..my heart goes out to your families.

Mrs. Hembree taught me to love biology. I still remember our field trip to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and trying to identify as many plants as I could. I was also blessed to attend church with her. My condolences to her family.

I remember Mrs. Hembree as a wonderful teacher and good neighbor to my grandmother as I was growing up. There were happy times playing with Bill and Steve over on Nubbin Ridge Rd. I am glad to know that she lived such a long life.

Mrs. Hembree was a wonderful teacher and role model. She nurtured my love of biology, which led me to a career in teaching and in biomedical engineering. She was one of the most influential female teachers that I had. I hope that I have been as helpful for my students as she was for me.

Our deepest sympathies. We loved Catherine, we were privileged to have known her for over 30 years. She was an inspiration to this mother and grandmother.
