I remember so much about Ruth. Her smile, her encouragement ,always so pleasant . I remember where she always set in church. She encouraged me to finish nursing.
I could go on but all this is to say I remember her well.
Precious LADY,

David, I was sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. I remember riding our bikes to Bowie when we were young and you and your family lived around the corner on Olive St. You Dad used to come up to Burleys store on HWY146 every day. You lived next to the Boyers. May your Mother rest in Heaven eternally. Charlie.

What a beautiful, lovely lady! For 11 years, we were next-door neighbors. She and my mother, Westelle Owen, were the best of friends. Those were the days of the true neighborhood where you could sit on your porch and visit, leave your door unlocked and not worry, and watch out and care for one another. We all went to church together. Mrs. Dauphin always had a beautiful smile and truly cared for others. I last saw her when my own

I am at my sister's in Ark. and we were browsing the internet and just happened to see Ruth's obit. I was blessed to have her as a friend. She was precious to my granddaughter, Haley, when our church, Second Baptist, had a campaign "Pray for the Heart of a Child" and she adopted Haley. Haley and I visited her numerous times and she would let Haley play with those beautiful dolls of hers. Haley loved Mrs. Ruth and Ruth loved her. God be with all of you. I know it's been a difficult few years for you.

I am so saddened by the passing of Ruth. She meant so much to her family and all who knew her. She was a very special lady.
I love the picture on this page. It captures her happy smile and twinkle in her eyes!

I was blessed to know Ruth for the last five years of her life. She delighted in her great grandchildren and her family was her world. Holiday dinners won't be the same without picking her up from Remington with her hair freshly styled and sharing in her company. Although her passing in some ways was a blessing as her health declined, she will leave a hole in the hearts of those of us lucky enough to know and love her. Rest in peace GG, you deserve it.

One of my most favorite people in the world passed away today. We grieve her loss, but rejoice that she is finally in heaven with the Lord and her loved ones. I was fortunate to gow up with my Grandmother living just a few miles away. She was there for most every life event, attending piano recitals, birthday parties, horse shows, fencing tournaments, you name it. Weekends with Grandmother were a special treat. She modeled a strong Christian woman and
