Dear Susan,
So sorry to learn of your loss. Our sincerest condolences to you and Bill's siblings. Though Julie had several occasions to interact with Bill, I only had the opportunity once, (back in '95, when you were filling in at First Pres) but what an impression he made! So proud he was of you.
Stay strong in the acceptance of Christ's salvation.

As our Associate Pastor over the past few years, Bill was always engaging and welcoming to all. You would have thought he was a founding member himself. Each occasion he conducted services was uplifting and enlightening.
I especially enjoyed his Wednesday Bible study. He made is so interesting, fun and brought us closer to knowing our Lord.
During the past year as I was going through a difficult time, Bill would check on me occasionally to see how I was doing. While

William (Bill) and Susan were my pastors in Steelville MO, when I lived there 1992-1994. I always appreciated Bill's sense of humor and kindness. They did a great job mentoring and leading the congregation. They also performed my wedding ceremony in 1993. I have always appreciated their friendship and send my prayers and condolences at William's passing. Blessings to you Susan, from the Williams family-- Cynthia, John, Selma and James Williams.

Ellie and I were Co-Pastors of the Northminster Presbyterian Church and served with Bill in the North County Presbyterian Cluster of Churches (St. Louis, MO) when he was pastor of one of the five churches in the 2000's. He was indeed a great team player and supporter of that cluster ministry. On behalf of the pastors and congregations of the NCPC, we send our condolences to Susan, family and friends and as we mourn his passing, we celebrate his life and ministry.

I was a member, with Bill and Roy, of the First Presbyterian Church of Delhi, and was Clerk of Session from 1968 until July 1976. When we moved to Wichita in 1976, Bill gave us a beautiful stained glass suncatcher depicting a communion chalice, bread, and grapes. It was our first suncatcher, and hangs, with other suncatchers, in our kitchen window to this day. We will always remember the friend who gave it to us (and made it himself, I think).
