She will be missed and it was jsut a pleasure to dive with her and harold over the last 10 yrs. God bless to all her family. I was so glad she was able to be at my wedding. My heart is heavy and she was a wonderful lady !!!

Eileen, we were ready and happy to welcome you this year in Tesero, Northern Italy, the village where your grandparents lived before emigrating to USA in the early 1900's. We followed your courageous fight during these months through Bud and Mary. Even though we never met, we feel like having shared something with you in this life. While most people will look down on me from the clouds, I do not believe this is where I will see you. You belong, and always have belonged, in a different kind of Heaven. One that is among the reefs and the whales, the fish and the beds, not among the clouds. I will not find you up high, but down beneath the waves, which you showed me and helped me understand so I could become an Adventure

Thank you for your experience, and thank you for showing me the path which I am now taking. Not that of school or sports, but that of a hobby. A common hobby between us, scuba diving. Every time I scuba, I will think of you. I know you will be watching, and will be the hand that guides me beneath the waves. You were always as true as the compass that I followed in Haigh, and now you can guide me farther beneath the waves of Haigh and beyond. Thanks for the dives, and showing me a new hobby.

I first met Eileen when we worked at the same company many, many years ago. We were there when our kids were born, got a dog named Corky from her because he kept chewing everything, and just talked and talked. Even remember when she broke her leg. I will miss you friend.

Even though Eileen and I didn't talk since the mid seventies, I thought about her and wondered if I would ever find her again. And then the wonder of facebook and similar friends I found her. We didn't facebook much but just the fact that she was there if I needed her was enough. Our lives have gone in different directions but I feel there was still a connection. To get on facebook this morning and read that she has

To get on facebook this morning and read that she has passed away was heartbreaking. All I can say is that it sounded like she lived her life to the fullest. My prayers are with her family at this very sad time.
