Chuck's wife Dottie and I were friends from the earlly "70's, working at Champion. We both got married and we all became fast friends. Many fantastic golf weekends, dinners and celebrations. After the Schimmel's retired to SC, they came back to visit us in Michigan as well as our numerous visits to Mt. Pleasant. When we retired in 1992, we too moved to Mt. Cousin Chuck, you will be greatly missed. Growing up you always made me smile when you came home for visits. Our family has lost another "great" one. Hope you and my Papa are having a blast up there in heaven. We will miss you. Love, Heather Cutcher-Dreier(Don Jensen's granddaughter)

Mr. Schimmel was the nicest, kindest man I ever met. Always a beaming smile on his face. He loved his family and life. He will always be remembered when we laugh and tell tales of old. Such a joker and teller of tall tales. Everytime we go to Loma's - we'll toast Chuck!!

It has been my extreme privilege to have known my father-in-law for so many years. He was truly an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed by all. He was influential to many people and we are all better for knowing him.
Even though you are gone you will never be forgotten.
Love you always,

I worked for Chuck for many years at R&D in Champion's Design-Drafting Dept., and while we weren't friends outside of work, he was always a hard worker. He always talked about Vicki. My sympathy to the family.

I too will miss Chuck! . Altough I have never met any of you, I actually know quite a bit about all of you. Chuck took great pride in his family and always talked in glowing terms of your accomplishments.I had the opportunity to get to know him very well, playing golf with him regularly for the past 20 years This accounts for so many great memories. Both he and Don were always will to change their regular Tuesday and
