I wish to send condolences to the Burton Family from myself and family. I went to school with Fred and later remet him when the kids went to Hillcrest H.S. The boys were on my football teams and wrestling teams and were with us many times. I also knew the girls and Judy played softball for me at HHS. It is a great loss for the family and he will be missed. He was a nice person and a good father. Again, sorry for your loss.

Beth, so sorry to hear about your loss. You always had good stories to tell about your dad - I wish I knew him better. But I know this, he raised a beautiful, smart, daughter with principles and morals - but enough about Judy. ha ha. Just kidding, see he raised a family with a great sense of humor. My deepest sympathies to your mother, to all your sisters and brothers and all the grandchildren. ~Carol and family

My heart is broken on the loss of such a great person. Fred I will miss you. Fred owed me “El Paso Doble” dance (that’s our inside joke between us) you know from dancing with the stars. Fred took very good care of me here at C&K. Not just only Fred but the entire family. I won’t say good-bye, just see you later. Now, you are with my Dad, safe and sound, say hi for me.
Will always remember you, Fred! Linda Perez & Family.

I had the honor of working with Fred on a regular basis for about 3 years. He had an inspirational thirst to learn and to conquer obstacles. With Fred, there was no such thing as "I can't do it", it was just a matter of time before he would figure it out in his own way. The harder it was , the more determined he became.
I also saw a lighter side of Fred, he could always find a way to

Mary and Family....We're very sorry to hear this sad news. My husband and I knew Fred through Fish Tales Fishing Club. We fished with Fred on several fishing trips. Our hearts go out to you and your family. May the memories of Fred bring you and your family comfort as you go through this difficult time.
Our Deepest Sympathies,

On behalf of the Midwest Musky Club, I want to extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Burton family.
Fred was long time member of the Midwest Musky Club and a wonderful person to know. I had the priviledge of fishing with Fred a few times and was really happy for him when he caught his first musky on Cave Run Lake in Kentucky. He also loved taking the entire Burton family up to Round Lake in Sister's Lake, MIchigan.
Fred will be missed at Midwest Musky Club meetings.
Rest in peace my fellow musky angler.
