Donna became my doctor when I moved here from Bicknell in 1993 ..... until she went
to work for Conseco. She was wonderful to me and was a friend as well as my doctor.

Our family knew both Donna and Dr. Meade as we lived in Bicknell for many years, where my husband was a physician also.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

I was a patient of Dr. Meade's beginning when I was in college, as she was my parents' doctor as well. My mother, Donna Woodward, was very fond of Dr. Meade, and the two chatted like old friends whenever my Mom was in her office. As a young married couple, both my husband and I were lucky to be in her care; we referred many friends to her practice. When she retired and we had to find a new doctor,

I worked for Dr. Meade for only a few years in the early 1970's. It was at he practice on East 71st Street. My good friend Toni Mattioda and I started there at the same time and we remain best friends today. My sister in law, Debbie Schrage worked there after I left. We talk of the days there with Dr. Meade and remember the time fondly. She was caring, intelligent, and a pleasure as a boss. Dr. Meade will be missed.

I had the good fortune to share my medical practice with one of the most empathic and caring physicians I have ever known, Dr. Donna Meade. Any physician, young or old would have been a better doctor by having her as role model. Not only will she be missed by her patients by her peers as well.

So sorry to hear about Donna--We had so much fun in school

I worked with Dr. Meade for 15 years and she was such a wonderful caring friend and mentor. She always had time to answer any question and help you work out the toughest cases. And you knew you could tell her your thoughts and feelings about other problems and she would give you sage advise and keep it all confidential.

Her queue was in was just before mine and I always looked to see if her coat was on the rack

We used to have so much fun growing up in Bicknell--good old West Side and Bicknell High School. Visited with her at our 50th H. S. Reunion. Seems like just the other day.
Donna joins more of our classmates who have gone on ahead of us.
My condolences to the rest of her family.

Dr. Meade was such a caring person. She would answer any question a person had so that you could understand. Her face just lit up when asked how Thomas was and enjoyed telling you about him. She will be greatly missed. Lori and Thomas, please know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers.
