Dear John, Angela, Grant and Ross,
When Amy called us to tell us grandpa K died we were so saddened. He was a great "cheerleader" for all our little St. Simon athletes. Please know we are thinking about your entire family. We will keep you in our prayers.

Steve and John - DK will be missed but I have so many fond memories of him. He was influential to me as a youngster being around his house and his sons. May God bless him and your family in this difficult time.

I enjoyed the years I had with son, Steve and grandson, Eric. Mr. Kirkpatrick definetely reared a fine family.

We have been friends with Karen and Eric Haler, Dick's niece, for many years and have been fortunate to get to know Dick during this time. Matt had the opportunity to spend a week fishing in Canada with Dick several years ago, a trip he will always remember. He had the utmost repect for Dick and really enjoyed talking to him whenever he came to a New Castle sporting event or they crossed paths in Indianapolis. We are so sorry for your loss and pray that God will comfort all of you during this time.

Dick has been a friend for more years than I care to think about and I will miss him greatly. Our relationship began as a professional one but expanded into friendship early and continued such until now.
Unfortunately I am out of town and will be unable to be there in person but my thoughts are with John, Steve and Bob.
