Ravena, NY – Anthony Quirici, 58, a local resident for 6 years, formerly of Hyde Park, died Thursday, August 16, 2012.
Born in Waterbury, CT on April 10, 1954, he was the son of the late Ivo and Lena Samusevich Quirici.
Tony was a salesman at CASINGS, Inc. in Catskill.
He was a very active trustee in the Calvary Baptist Church of Albany. He was a commercial pilot with a passion for flying and was active in foreign missions in the Ukraine and Russia on behalf of his church and BIEM Ministries.
On December 3, 1992, in Hyde Park, he married the former Mary Dressel. Mrs. Quirici survives at home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his aunt, uncle, cousins, and his church family.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the Community Mausoleum Chapel at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie. Pastors Joe Roof and Jonathan Weaver will officiate.
Entombment will follow in the family crypt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to BIEM, 121 Commerce Dr.- Suite 50, Danville, Indiana 46122.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Hyde Park.
