Barker, Arthur H., born November 17, 1923 (88) in Keokee, VA. and formerly of Dayton, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Clearwater, FL. were he resided for the last 30 years. He served his country in World War II in North Africa and Italy. He retired from General Motor's Frigidaire division in 1980. He was a Colonel in the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He was a member of the Clearwater Masonic Lodge #127 F&AM and a member of the Eastern Stars, Queen Ester Chapter 4 in Clearwater. He loved spending time fishing and playing golf. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Emory and Edith Barker, his sister and brother in law Lorene and Elmo Hendricks. He is survived by his loving wife Helen (Duff) Barker, two daughters and son-in-laws Angel Gadd & Jeff Gadd and Deborah Hood & Steve Hood, Four grandchildren, Regina Absher, Teresa Warner, Michael Hood, and David Hood. 6 great grand children, Aslynn Absher, Joseph Hood, Rachel Hood, Ella Hood, Ashley Murphy, and Sarah Murphy, brother and sister-in-law David and Regina Barker of Orlando, FL and sister Margaret Humston of Dayton, OH and many nieces and nephews
