Barry Phillip Peel, 49, of Mabelvale, AR left this earth on July 29, 2012. Born to John W. "Billy" Peel and Helen "Taffy" Peel on July 3, 1963. Barry was a master electrician working with his dad, Billy and his nephew, Zack for many years at Peel Construction. He loved his family more than words can say. He loved hunting and spending time in the woods, where he was the happiest. Barry enjoyed riding his Harley, playing the guitar, and helping other people. He was also an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. The world was a better place when he was here.
Barry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Versa and John Peel and Tom and Ruby Dew.
Barry is survived by his son, Cory Phillip, and parents John W. "Billy" and Helen "Taffy" Peel; his loving sisters Joni (Mike) Romine, Lori Howell, Teri (Chuck) Davis, and Sheri (Jerry) Clark. He had three lovely step children Perry Lynn (Kealey) Wyse, Jarrod Chrisman, and Jennifer Arce. "Pops" adored his grandson Kruz Thomas Wyse. As a close family, Barry had a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who were blessed by him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2nd, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1st at Griffin Leggett, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ar (501) 455-1067.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Mabelvale United Methodist Church.
Please share your memories of Barry at www.griffinleggettforesthills.com
