Brenda Riggin, age 72, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School. She had been a carrier for the United States Postal Services. Brenda was a member of the Lawrence Community Center where she loved to play cards. She also loved to read, cook, and sew for the family. Brenda is survived by her brothers Keith and Doyle Swann, children Janet Hulett, John Riggin, Karen Broedel and Elaine Black, grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Justin, Nicholas, Neil, Natalie, Richard, Robin, Jenee, Rachael, Jacob, and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation and funeral services will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., from 11 am till the time of the service at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
