Mrs. Carolyn Biggers Pettite “MeMaw”, age 72, of Hampton, GA passed away August 16, 2011. Mrs. Pettite was born in Cedartown, GA the daughter of the late Horace Edward and Gertrude Jane Cole Biggers. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Biggers, a sister, Alice Wyatt and a granddaughter, Alicia Parker. Mrs. Pettite enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, loving all animals, watching birds, cooking and making her family’s favorite banana pudding. Survivors are her husband, Jerry Pettite of Hampton; children, Kathy Parker (Kenny) of Locust Grove, Tammy Bolton (Terry) of Forsyth, and David Pettite of Hampton; grandchildren, Jason White, Wendi Pyles, Christopher Parker and Erin Cagle; 7 great- great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Montgomery of TN, Martha McDaniel of Forsyth, and Donna Moseley of Lawrenceville; brother, Paul Biggers of Senoia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Pettite will be Friday, August 19, 2011 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
