David J. Weber, 55, of Saltsburg passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012.

Born on December 6, 1956 in Pittsburgh he was a son of the late August Weber and Shirley (Thompson) Weber.

David lived in Saltsburg for the past 18 years and had worked for City Brewing in Pittsburgh as a control engineer for several years.

He was a graduate of Penn Trafford High School and ITT Tech. He enjoyed spelunking and repelling into caves and off bridges; bicycling and walking. He was a member of the Loyalhanna Grotto Caving Organization.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years Cindy (Taylor) Weber of Saltsburg; 2 sons, Darren Allen and Derek John Weber both of Saltsburg; his mother, Shirley (Thompson) Weber of Delmont; sister, Teri (Greg) Binduga of Jeannette; niece, Bethani and nephew, Brett.

At the request of the family there will be no public visitation and all services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Curran Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 701 Salt Street, Saltsburg, PA 15681.
