Debi (Langlois) Theorin, 52, Merrill, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family due to complications of Lukemia and a Bone Marrow Transplant. Debi was born March 22, 1959 in Ladysmith, WI. She married Carl Theorin on May 6, 1983 in Coon Rapids, MN. Debi was one of the original employees at South of the Border Supper Club. For many years she did daycare in her home and was the Dance Studio Coordinator at Dorinda's Dance Studio. Debi loved young people and enjoyed being around them. Her positive attitude toward everything in life was what she was known for and her influence on the people around her was remarkable. Debi became a lover of the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers and college basketball because of her youngest son, Paul. Debi is survived by her husband Carl; her daughter Stephanie (Travis) Spoehr, her sons John (Amber Seliger) and Paul, all of Merrill; her mother, Jean Langlois, Blaine, MN; her brothers Gary (Jeaninee), Larry & Brian, all of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by Carl's brothers & sister and her father in law, Glenn and by close family friends Jim, Bob & Joe Busterud. Debi was preceded in death by her father, Leon Langlois and her beloved friend Angie Busterud. Services will be held at 7 PM Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Maurice Schaus will officiate. Friends may call from 2 PM – 6:30 PM Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given to TB Scott Library designated for audio books or to Lukemia Research or to the charity of your choice. Rick Stine and Paul Waid are assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com or www.waidfuneral.com.
