Dewey Glen Riggins passed away Saturday evening, July 28, 2012, in a tragic accident in Crosby. He was born June 26, 1961, in Houston to Harold and Lillie (Dutton) Riggins. He was a former truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ. He loved motorcycles, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He had lots of friends and never knew a stranger. He will be deeply missed.

Dewey is preceded in death by his parents; son, Justin Riggins; and brother, Lester Riggins. He is survived by Taylor Coursey, who was like his own son; sisters, Bernice Gerard and husband, Gerald, of Dayton, and Peggy Riggins of Baytown; granddaughter, Baylee Rose Riggins; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, August 3, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Maranatha Church, 12319 Highway 146, Mont Belvieu, with Rev. Mark Trice officiating.
