Mrs. Dorothy R. Boyington, 75, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother (Bunkin), Of Ocala, FL, formerly of Miami, went home to be with her Lord in heaven on Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was born in Bronx, NY on September 5, 1936. Dorothy lived in Miami her entire life until she moved to Ocala in December of 2010. In 1949, Dorothy was 13, when she met the love of her life, 17 year old John Boyington. They married in 1955 and were together 57 years. He survives her along with their daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jeff Smith; grandchildren, Danny and Rhiannon Smith, Jamie and B.J. Hammett, David and Missy Smith; great grandchildren, Taylor Hammett, Jaiden Smith, Braylon Hammett, and Darius Smith. She was truly loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. " Good night, sweet dreams, we love you."
