Dwight "Poppy" Davis, 72, of Little Rock, passed away September 18, 2012. Dwight was a Field Service Representative for Arkansas Farm Bureau until he retired in 1999. He was a member of Lifeline Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He loved working around the church and his church family.
Dwight was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years Carol Ann Davis. He is survived by two daughters, Martha Kornas (Matt) and Mary Prince (Kenny); one son, Chris Davis (Sarah); and seven grandchildren, Tara Prince, Allison Prince, Holly Kornas, Tyler Kornas, Abraham Davis, Lydia Davis and Rebekah Davis, all of Little Rock.
Visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning in the Chapel with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 N., Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
