Eileen T. (Perrotti) Carr passed away at her home in Peabody after a brief illness. She was only 53 years of age. Eileen was born in Melrose on August 30, 1958, was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1976. Mrs. Carr graduated from Regis College and the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Nursing program. She worked as a registered nurse at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, the Kindred Hospital in Peabody and at Lowell General Hospital the last 3 years and was a member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association. Eileen lived in Melrose for over 25 years, 17 years in Wakefield and the past 15 years in Peabody. She liked taking trips to Foxwoods, spending time with family at Hampton Beach and her two cats BiBi & OJ. But most of all she loved taking care of her "Boys". Eileen was the beloved wife of Stephen F. Carr. Loving mother of Stephen F. Carr Jr., Ryan P. Carr & Kevin J. Carr all of Peabody. Cherished daughter of Carmen & Eileen (Hayes) Perrotti of NH. Devoted sister of Jimmy Perrotti of NH, Kathleen Perrotti of Beverly and the late Ann E. Perrotti. Daughter-in-law of Lillian Carr of Melrose & the late Donald Carr. Sister-in-law of Donna & Jeff Canada of Melrose and Linda & Bob Sjostrom of Wakefield. Aunt of Carmen Ann Higgins as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wednesday, August 15th at 9AM. A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of the Incarnation, 429 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4:00-8:00PM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Memorial contribution may be made in Eileen's name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
