Elizabeth Allen Smith went to her final home to be with her God and beloved Dad, on August 7, 2012.
The daughter of Corbett and Beth Allen was born in Spokane, Washington on August 5, 1961. Her mother, Beth, resides in Sandpoint, Idaho and spent many happy moments with her daughter on the lake and the ski slopes.
Elizabeth's life took her to many different place s in the world, such as Palos Verdes, California, Morgan City, Louisiana, England, Nigeria and finally Friendswood, Texas. Though her time on Earth was far too short, wherever Elizabeth went she formed friendships that lasted throughout her lifetime and that she cherished.
In 1998, she met her husband, Chad Smith, and together for the last 10 years they built a life together based on love, respect, friendship, fellowship and support.
Among Elizabeth's many accomplishments are being a graduate from Louisiana State University, with a BA in Business Administration, a sorority sister of Alpha XI Delta, a paralegal degree from UCLA, working for the District Attorney for the city of Houston for 7 years, recently working towards her certification as a Drug Counselor. It is with an abundance of love; Elizabeth embraced the fellowship of AA, always trying to give of herself and being rewarded with friendships abound.
The accomplishment she was most proud of was being the best mother to her son Christopher with her first husband and friend, Roy Williams. To know Elizabeth is to know her son was her reason to rise each day, and what made her heart the happiest. Even in death, the love and pride she had for her son will live on forever.
Elizabeth was the big sister to Peggy Levingston. Throughout their lifetime people often mistook them for twins. While they were not biological twins their hearts were joined as one, and share a lifetime of memories as only two sisters can.
Elizabeth was the aunt and Godmother to her nieces and nephew, Shari, Shane, and Schante' Levingston, a role and honor that she embraced with all the love in her heart.
To know Elizabeth, was to love Elizabeth, and the heart and compassion which she gave to all she met. Survived by her husband, son, mother, sister, nieces and nephew, with each wave that gently rolls toward the shore, she will be remembered and forever loved.
