Ernest Eugene "Ernie" McGraw, 77, of Spartanburg, died Friday, July 27, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 12, 1934, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Marie Mabry McGraw. He retired from Union Camp (now International Paper) with over 30 years of service and was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church, the Walt Forrester Sunday School Class, American Legion Post 28, Hejaz Shrine Temple, Cherokee Springs Masonic Lodge, and Greer Country Club. Ernie was an avid baseball fan, played American Legion baseball from 1950-51, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sarah Frances Jones McGraw; daughters, Gina M. Sill of Duncan, SC, Lisa M. Williams and husband Tracy of Inman, SC, and Donna Streetman of Clinton, SC; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM-12:30 PM on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jack A. Caldwell and the Rev. C. E. "Smoke" Kanipe, Jr. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to El Bethel United Methodist Church, 320 South Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306; or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
