75, late of New Lenox, formerly of Country Club Hills passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his home. Born in Waterloo, IA to the late Frederick and Crescentia (nee Graf) Burton. Beloved husband of Mary P. (nee Giblin); Loving father of Catherine (Larry) Freudinger, Michael (Ann), John (Jeanette), Judith (Loren) Hess and Beth (Rich) Czop; Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, John and Mary Freudinger, Maura, Katie, Sean and Aidan Burton, Anna, Andrew and Bradley Burton, Adam, Eric and Sarah Hess, Jamie, Rich, Reilly and Jake Czop; Dear brother of Mary Moltzan. Fred was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Midwest Muskie Club and Fish Tales Fishing Club. In lieu of flowers memorials to Misericordia or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 3-9PM. Funeral Service Saturday, January 26, 2013, with prayers at 10:00 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment Private.
