Gerald "Jerry" R. Krueger, 72 years old, of Merrill, Wisconsin went to heaven on January 9, 2012. He was a native of Merrill, Wisconsin and also lived in Florida and Minnesota. He served in the US Air Force and retired from IBM as a Computer Analyst after nearly 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin Krueger and Julia Holzem Krueger. Also preceded in death by his four sisters: Kay Beyer, Karen Michalski, June Krueger, and Wanda Benzinger. Survivors include his daughters Kelly Stewart and her husband George, Kristen Sweat and her husband Joseph. 4 grandchildren: Lacey Stewart Redditt, G.W. Stewart, Carson Sweat, and Evan Sweat. 4 great-grandchildren: Sara and Hudson Redditt & William and Christian Stewart. Survivors also include his brother-in-law Phil Benzinger of Wausau, Wis. And 4 nieces Nancy Michalski, Kay Lynn Heggemeier, Pamela Sturm, Joy Beckman, and 2 nephews John Michalski and Mark Michalski all of Wisconsin. Many great nieces and nephews as well. He loved to fish for trout, hunt white tail deer, play cards and read his "Good News" Bible. He couldn't wait to see his Heavenly Father and his family is so grateful he is at peace there. No services are planned. Waid Funeral Home in Merrill, Wisconsin is charge of arrangements. He will be buried at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the family for expenses.
